Thank you! Yes, it's made from scratch. Copypasta from my steamfashion post: "I made this from items I had around the house: a gold jacquard tablecloth, a foam mat, paperboard, aluminum wire, and embellishments from eBay, a local fabric store, 2 different garage sales and a Godiva gift basket."

Oooh! Super cute! For staying power, only thing I can think of is make a bun on the top or top side of your head so you can put a hat pin through it. Either that or find some way of hiding a giant clips on the inside of the hat.
