Wedding Colors

We've selected Mint Green as our wedding color. When I say "We" I really mean we. Gunther agreed to a pastel color scheme.

We both like the color green but he didn't know the difference between the shades of green I suggested: spring, celadon, jade, mint, etc. so I took out a sheet of pastel green paper and asked "Lighter or darker than this?" and so on.

We ended up looking at an internet hexidecimal color chart because we're geeks. We picked out #99FFAA.

I now finally have an excuse to buy these Irregular Choice shoes:
3318-2Dmain
Too bad they don't come in mint green. Oh wait . . .



I could swap out the dark green ribbons on these to a lighter color:
3318-2Bmain

Too bad I didn't buy these when I first saw them over a year ago. They're completely sold out in all sizes and colors. I have a year to stalk eBay for them.

Anyway, green is a fantastic color! And I love love those shoes! They're so lovely in green. I'm sorry to hear they're sold out :(

We haven't set an exact date. We're going to talk to sites and see what's available, but we want April or May 2010.

I'm waiting for the Irregular Choice site to relaunch; they'll probably have something else wonderful!

Aw, that's so cute!! :3 And I love those shoes! They remind me of shoes that Marc Jacobs designed a couple of seasons ago.

Ah you mean the backwards heels? Those are very interesting but a bit chunky for me.

We haven't picked an exact date, but we are thinking about April or May 2010.

Wow, #99FFAA is more of a bright light mint rather than a dull pastel on this monitor.

Depending on the way I tilt my monitor it's either bright or very pale. Hmm, perhaps my screen was tilted funny when we looked at the chart . . .
